It has been a slow week this week. Real life has gotten in the way for a few of us, but we are still moving forward at least.
I am concentrating on coding and support graphics right now and am setting up the main screens for the different areas of the Palace.
If you have tried out the last release, you will have already seen the navigation screen for the player's apartment.
Now I have to do similar screens for visiting court, the gardens, other peoples quarters.
We are still a bit aways from the next release and it may have a lot of placeholder graphics in it, but with some time off over Christmas I hope to have something substantial early in the new year.

ReplyDeleteI apologize beforehand for leaving here a comment that ins't related to this post, but i've been unable of finding a better place.
I was just wondering wich the game mechanics that involve the random events are. I mean, for example, once i got the elven robbers mission three times in a row, followed with almost four days without any quests.
I though that was related with the 4x3's monthly bonus, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

The quests and the timings are random. When your scores are low, you have a one in six chance of a quest. As they get higher, that increases to 1 in 3 (you have more chance of succeeding then). Which quest you get is totally random. It is all in the luck of the virtual dice roll.

DeleteAnd i'm sorry but now i've got one more unrrelated question -_-
When on the 2nd phase, whenever you don't click weapons nor fist combat, you do always the first if i'm not wrong. Either way i've seen in the image folder a cgi scene of the main character being knocked down on the floor of the training room, but that picture doesn't appear when i lose the combat. So I'm not sure if it requires a certain condition.
