- This Alpha changes a lot of events, so saves will not be compatible. They will work, but you will get stuck if you have made any significant progress on part 2.
- The events were pretty much all there, but they were not connected up properly. I actually made things a little worse in the last few patches. Stepping back and analysing it properly was what I should have done some time ago.
- This does mean that you will probably find new bugs in parts of the game we thought were already fixed.
As well as fixing the events, this patch fixes a small issue with the updater where it was bring down extra files it did not need to. This will speed up the update process a bit.

If you have 1.7.0 already, you can just use Get Updates from within the game.
Please note that this release has only had cursory testing from me. I can't guarantee anything at this point apart from the fact that it starts up and seems to run.
A little confused Onc! Would downloading this patch bugger up my saves? Is it safer to just wait for another patch or should I download this patch regardless?
ReplyDeleteSorry, I had to do some drastic rewrites on some stuff. You probably can't finish the game unless you go back to the start of part 2. Later releases won't fix that. :(

You can use Quick Start Part 2 or you can choose restart and select part 2 as your starting point.

ReplyDeleteThe player pregnancy chance should be buffed. Been trying for a while to get pregnant, but its really unlikely to happen. I'm just saying, because I don't see the point of contraception things if it is so hard for you to get pregnant, lol. The game is really good so far.
ReplyDeleteYou getting pregnant multiple times is basically game over so it's not something you want to happen. If you aren't in the right moon phase it'll never happen.

DeleteI haven't progress to far in this latest version 1,7,1(still training), I was able to get quest girls pregnant in the previous version 1.?.1.(first version with chapter 2 content) Actually, I got a girl in green pregnant and had a request to do it to an Ambassador. I never finished the Ambassador quest, due to moon phase and updated version.
ReplyDeleteConcerning the girl in green quest in 1.6.1, the items given to help in pregnancy disappeared after loading game. Also, I couldn't find a journal entry as being an active quest or the task being asked. Due to a lack of information, I restarted the game.
Inventory has a bug where there is a phantom column off the screen, so items disappear. Fixed in the next release (around the end of the month)

ReplyDeleteManaged to do a lot more than I have done in previous versions, with conversations appearing that weren't there before, smoother transitions and generally a better experience!
However, despite having her Submissiveness at 72, Dzad still won't hand over the bell! Grrr. And for some strange reason, despite having been pregnant twice, the conversation with Bailey and big Z to send her off spying has not popped up, even though I've met all the other criteria!
Love the new images and conversations though <3

Exactly right! I found the bugs and will be putting the patch up this weekend. It will include a temporary fix that will get you past the point where you are stuck as you have already hit those events.

Where do you find the belt buckle? I've lost count of how many times I've went on patrol but never found it.
ReplyDeleteYou need to go one patrol with partners until you find a party of miners hacked to death by swords. (New images just put in this release.)
DeleteThen you need to go on patrol by yourself and you will find the buckle after a while (~1 in 6 chance).
I found the miners but it's been 20 days since then and I haven't found the buckle. Do the smugglers or flowers have it because I haven't been fighting those?
